Located just off the M25 motorway at Junction 30/31, our Purfleet facility is Tennants newest distribution depot opened in 1997 and with easy access via the M25 (M1, M2, M3, M4, M11, M20, M23, M26 and M40) to customers in London, the South East, central South and East Anglia.
The depot has 12 x 316 stainless steel tanks of 60 M3 capacity each for storing flammable chemicals (including solvents) and 6 x 40 M3 capacity self-bunded plastic tanks and 1 x 40 M3 stainless steel tank for storing acids and alkalis and "state of the art" semi-automatic pack filling facilities.
This depot has its own fire-fighting capability and via a substantial water ring-main can deliver over 7 tonnes per minute of water throughout the site to fixed fire monitors for tank and pack cooling and fire suppression from our own reservoirs holding over 2 million litres (2000 tonnes) of water.
Deliveries are made using our own fleet of rigid body and articulated lorries and two vans backed up by approved outside haulage contractors when needed. All our drivers are ADR trained and approved in the carriage and handling of hazardous materials.

Located just 4 miles from the centre of West Bromwich, but within close proximity to the M6 and M5, our West Bromwich distribution depot has easy access via the motorway network to customers in the Midlands, Mid and South Wales.
The depot has 9 tanks, each with a capacity up to 60 M3, mainly thermoplastic for storing acids and alkalis. The depot covers an area of 8 acres, is registered to FEMAS and is a low tier COMAH site. Additionally, the site has 3 warehouses for dry goods storage with over 1,500 stock lines.
The depot utilise its own fleet of rigid body lorries, for packed products, consisting of a mix of own vehicle and approved outside haulage contractors. All drivers are ADR trained and approved in the carriage and handling of hazardous materials.

Located just 3 miles from the centre of Manchester, but within close proximity to the M62, our Manchester distribution depot has easy access via the motorway network to customers in the North West, Merseyside and North Wales.
This site opened in 1957 and is the largest of Tennants Distribution sites. The depot has 23 stainless steel tanks for storing flammable chemicals (including solvents) each with a capacity up to 75 M3. Additionally, the site has 18 other tanks, each with a capacity up to 100 M3, mainly steel or thermoplastic for storing a range of products including surfactants, white oils, acids and alkalis. This depot is the hub for packed products, which are transported overnight to other Tennant depots.
The depot covers an area of 9 acres, is fully bunded, is registered to FEMAS and is a low tier COMAH site. Additionally, the site has 3 warehouses for dry goods storage with over 1,200 stock lines.
The depot utilise fleet of 20 rigid body and articulated lorries, for both bulk and packed products, consisting of a mix of own vehicle and approved outside haulage contractors. All drivers are ADR trained and approved in the carriage and handling of hazardous materials.

Located just off the M62 motorway at Junction 27, our Leeds distribution depot has easy access via the M62, A1 and M1 to customers east of the Pennines, and especially the industrial areas of the North East and Yorkshire.
The site opened in 1987 has modern filling and dilution facilities, including 15 stainless steel tanks each with a capacity up to 100 M3 and 5 other tanks mainly steel or thermoplastic. The site has bulk storage for Acetic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide and a range of other acids and alkalis. One of its specialities is in the dilution of products for food and pharmaceutical use.
The depot covers an area of 7 acres, is registered to FEMAS and is a low tier COMAH site. Additionally, the site has a large warehouse for dry goods storage with over 800 stock lines.
The site utilise its own fleet of rigid body and articulated lorries, although this is backed up this by approved outside haulage contractors when needed. All drivers are ADR trained and approved in the carriage and handling of hazardous materials.
