Located just 3 miles from the centre of Manchester, but within close proximity to the M62, our Manchester distribution depot has easy access via the motorway network to customers in the North West, Merseyside and North Wales.

This site opened in 1957 and is the largest of Tennants Distribution sites. The depot has 23 stainless steel tanks for storing flammable chemicals (including solvents) each with a capacity up to 75 M3. Additionally, the site has 18 other tanks, each with a capacity up to 100 M3, mainly steel or thermoplastic for storing a range of products including surfactants, white oils, acids and alkalis. This depot is the hub for packed products, which are transported overnight to other Tennant depots.

The depot covers an area of 9 acres, is fully bunded, is registered to FEMAS and is a low tier COMAH site. Additionally, the site has 3 warehouses for dry goods storage with over 1,200 stock lines.

The depot utilise fleet of 20 rigid body and articulated lorries, for both bulk and packed products, consisting of a mix of own vehicle and approved outside haulage contractors. All drivers are ADR trained and approved in the carriage and handling of hazardous materials.
