  • Most commonly used in fertiliser manufacture, but is also important in mineral processing, oil refining, wastewater processing, and chemical synthesis. 
  • Found in lead-acid batteries and drain cleaners to remove grease, hair, tissue deposits.


  • Dilutions between 25 - 96%

  • Colourless, odourless, and viscous liquid that is soluble in water. Corrosive.
